Miguel Alban serves as the Senior Vice President, Director of Multicultural Banking for Customers Bank, an $11.5 Billion dollar Bank headquartered in Phoenixville, PA. Mr. Alban serves as the Honorary Consul of Peru in Philadelphia and Vice President of the Consular Corps Association of Philadelphia.
Mr. Alban earned his Law degree from the University of Piura, Peru and is a lawyer in Peru. He earned his Master’s Degree in International Law from Temple University’s Beasley School of Law and currently attends the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business, Stonier School of Banking.
Prior to Customers Bank, Mr. Alban served as a Vice President of Multicultural Banking for Bryn Mawr Trust and has also served as Director of Hispanic Banking for Susquehanna Bank (Former First National Bank of Chester County). Mr. Alban was Founder of The Hispanic Approach, a marketing agency focused on multicultural markets.
Mr. Alban is the creator of a premier Spanish language publication targeting the Latinx population, HOLA Chester County, HOLA Tampa Bay, and HOLA Philadelphia.
Mr. Alban currently serves and has served as a board member for many organizations across the greater Philadelphia region, including: Congreso de Latinos Unidos, the YMCA of the Greater Brandywine, Baker Industries, Southern Chester County Chamber of Commerce, and La Comunidad Hispana. Mr. Alban has also served as an Advisory Board Member at First National Bank and DNB First Bank.
Mr. Alban was the recipient of the “Thanks for Caring” award in 2014 for his community involvement and numerous contributions by the Chester County Community Foundation.
Mr. Alban has been an Adjunct Professor of Spanish at several Philadelphia-area Universities, including Villanova University, Cabrini University, and Immaculata University.
Mr. Alban has recently been appointed a member of the Board of Trustees for Malvern Preparatory School.
He currently resides in southern Chester County with his wife and three children.
