About

Lauren is the CEO of World Affairs Council of Philadelphia, a 70 year old nonprofit that connects Philadelphia to the world through world class speaker programs, training professionals in global fluency, curating educational international travel and providing world affairs education to over 2,500 youth annually. Previously, she was Deputy Commerce Director of International Business & Global Strategy for the City of Philadelphia. With a focus on attracting business, talent, investment and visitors from around the world to Philadelphia, she crafted the global strategy for the city. Lauren has extensive background in international trade and currently serves as the Honorary Consul of Sweden for Pennsylvania. She is a Board Member for Leadership Philadelphia; Women Against Abuse; Philadelphia Convention and Visitors Bureau and Global Philadelphia Association. She is a member of the Sunday Breakfast Club and the Forum of Executive Women. Lauren is an accomplished speaker at conferences and events around the world. Awards include “40 Under 40” Honoree in 2019 from the Philadelphia Business Journal and Temple University’s Fox School of Business International Business Partner of the Year in 2016-2017.
