About

 

Hersh Kozlov, P.C. is the managing partner of the Cherry Hill, New Jersey office of the international law firm of Duane Morris LLP, headquartered in Philadelphia. With over thirty years of experience, Mr. Kozlov provides counseling to clients in the areas of litigation, federal and state regulatory matters, complex financial institution management and gaming law, representing investment banks and lenders, private equity firms, financial institutions and banks, and gaming companies in jurisdictions both domestic and international. Mr. Kozlov has managed a broad range of complex commercial litigation matters and has served as lead counsel before both federal and state courts in New Jersey and elsewhere.

Mr. Kozlov serves on the board of directors of The Bancorp, Inc. (TBBK; NASDAQ) and vTv Therapeutics, Inc. (VTVT; NASDAQ), a company whose largest shareholder is MacAndrews & Forbes Incorporated, and has also served as counsel to the board of directors of US Healthcare, Inc. Mr. Kozlov was appointed, by the President of the United States, to be a member of the Advisory Committee for Trade Policy & Negotiations, having served in that role from 2002-2005. He has been involved with business in the Country of Georgia for several years.  Duane Morris has held a well-attended symposium on doing business in Georgia, at which the featured speaker was the Ambassador of Georgia to the United States, His Excellency David Bakradze.

Mr. Kozlov graduated from Temple University with a B.A. degree in 1969 and graduated from Case Western Reserve University School of Law in 1972, which has identified and honored him as an outstanding graduate. He has served as a member of the board of trustees of Cooper Hospital University Medical Center and the New Jersey State Aquarium, Camden. He has likewise served as an officer of and New Jersey counsel to the Delaware River Port Authority, the bi-state agency created by the Congress to govern transportation between Pennsylvania and New Jersey. The Philadelphia Consulate for the Country of Georgia is located on the 12th Floor of Duane Morris headquarters, located at 30 South 17 St. in Center City Philadelphia. The Georgian Consulate in Philadelphia offers these services:

  • Protecting the interests of Georgian citizens in our consular jurisdiction.
  • Supporting the Georgian diaspora community and organizations at large.
  • Furtherance of the development of economic, trade, tourism, scientific and cultural relations between Georgia and the US.

 

The Georgian Honorary Consul does not offer assistance with visas, passport applications, national identity cards, consular notarial services or obtaining Georgian nationality.
